Im talking, a live action TV show based on a video game not a cartoon, we got that.

Sierras Space Quest Series for example, would be a cool Sci Fi comedy in the vain of the old Hitchhickers Series.

There are none that I can think of, because its normally the reverse, video games based off tv series.
Plenty of movies, just no tv series.
Also, I think the tick tv is actually based of the cartoon. Or the comic. Either way

There was actually a Anime based on Final Fantasy 7, but only in Japan, and I read that it was very bad. Then there is the CGI movie, which technicly counts as animation. Im saying TV series because Movies based on video games have not been really good (not counting the few exeptions). Also some games have so much story and lore, that it would work almost better as a series.

Mortal Kombat: Conquest is a good example for a Series based on a video game. The characters were correctly portraied, and the action was good and story was great too. King of Fighters or Street Fighter could be made the same way.

You guys said Zelda, that would definetly work better as a movie. But thanks to guys like Uwe Boll, Movies based on Video Games are crappy, because the Producers dont care for them.

The best live-action TV show based on a video game would have to be Mortal Kombat: Conquest. The writers did a good job portraying the characters created by Ed Boon and adding a twist to their backstories. The action sequences were good too, and tried to be faithful to the game series. It would have been nice for the series to last longer than it did, but I enjoyed it while it lasted.
