Hello fellow game advocates. I joined this site to enjoy nostalgic games of my youth. Primarily Pokémon, I have found it to be a wonderful site worth an investment of my time. So here I am, browsing the rest of the site and perhaps learning more about it's community. I imagine there are a least a few rad unique people on here worth meeting.

My name is David. I normally use the user name "Davideo7", but some guy got here before me and stole it.
Luckily my backup gamer tag was still available. So feel free to call me "Ren" so there is no confusion there.
I enjoy many video games, though as I have grow older, I do not have as much time to play them as I once felt I did. (I do have the same amount of time, yet priorities must have changed; odd expression, "time" is.)

Anyway, I play many games but on this site mostly pokémon, Fire Emblem, and games of that sort. If there is a game that is uber-awesome, tell me about it. I get bored of repetition and a new game idea is always excepted.

Outside of Video games, I enjoy music, exercise, words, and people. I watch anime and some TV shows. I have a taste for things poetic and beautiful. As do I enjoy nature. Animals and plants have always been close friends.

So if you are cool, feel free to join to video game part of my life and message me about the wonders of interactive virtual entertainment and such. If not, no worries, enjoy the games anyway!

haha!  I think your introduction is one of the first to make me laugh in  a very long time.    Way to make a first great impression!

Singelli : I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of it. Judging by the background of your post it looks like I'm going to need to brush some rust off my html skills. A favorite animal has always been hard to pick, over the years I've had many different types, but now I just appreciate them as I meet them. The same goes for plants I suppose, however I do have a special place in my heart for trees.

Ren Dragi : haha!  My skills are nothing impressive, trust me.  It's super difficult for me to write anything from scratch, and the few tricks I do know are pretty basic.  Technology is far, far above my head.  

What's your favorite bird, then?  As strange as it might sound, my favorite bird is the chickadee.

Birds.   Always been important to me. During different era's of my life I favored different birds. When I was very young it was the Cardinal. Then shortly after discovering the woodpecker and the hummingbird, I became torn between the two. A few year later I found a fondness for Penguins that I have yet to outgrow. Yet for a short while, (likely a result from reading a book series called Animorphs), I decided on the red tailed hawk. I also have enormous respect for the peregrine falcon. And somewhere along the line the flamingo became my sigil, partly because some friends found it amusing to buy me flamingo patterned clothing. I wore it with pride. For today however,  I would say that the owl is likely my current favorite. So, yeah, Long story short, The Owl. However, I can't imagine it remaining my favorite for an unlimited duration of time. Explaining is more fun anyway.
Why did you pick the Chickadee? Other then the obvious; That they are adorable tiny things.

Ren Dragi : oh my goodness!!! Aren't they?!?!?!  I LOVE them!  I lived in Alaska for six years, and sure, the wildlife there is AMAZING.  But the chickadee always caught my attention.  I guess because it just resonates with me so well.  It seems so gentle and sweet and humble.  And... just... gorgeous.  I once watched a man draw one with colored pencils at a fair in Alaska, and I always wish I had bought it, because I thought it was amazing....

They even have a very beautiful little song.  ^.^

Singelli : Sounds like you really enjoy them! That's unfortunate about not buying the drawing, perhaps you'll just need to start drawing them yourself! Did you enjoy Alaska overall? I am curious because I was considering moving there myself for perhaps a year or two.

Shadow Original : Amazing site! Thank you! I've already become addicted. I had only really been using "Crunchyroll" which has a very limited selection. Much appreciated. What are a few of your top anime selections?

Ren Dragi : mostly digimon( never really watched it as a child so I watch now and I see how crazy it truly is ) good show um I have also watched the series: Is this a Zombie? (13 episodes but is very funny and kind a immature got to say though it is funny. Um......I don't really watch anime but if the shows are good I'll watch them. What ones do you watch?

Shadow Original : I enjoy a variety of different shows and movies. I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z, which was fantastic at the time, regardless that about seventy percent of every episode was all recap.  There are too many to name, so I'll only name a few of my favorite shows. Which includes: Mushi-shi, Naruto, Clannad, Sword Art Online, Say "I love you", Hunter x Hunter, Eureka Seven,  Soranowoto, Bleach, Angel Beats, and Avatar the Last Airbender. I could list off movies too, but after looking at the list I just wrote, I'll just limit it to the most recent one I enjoyed which was...... (Checking history) ..... 5 Centimeters Per Second.  I'll need to check out "Is this a Zombie?". (As I have already have seen a fair amount of Digimon.)  Thanks for the heads up.  

Ren Dragi :  Oh gosh!  I can't draw at all!  Give me a ruler, and I -still- can't manage a straight line.    I wish I could draw though.  All my siblings are amazing artists.  They draw the most amazing things, and I sit there and watch them and wonder how in the world they do it.  Of course, I got the math side of the brain, so I'm sure they watch me do math sometimes and wish they could do it as well.

As for Alaska.... man.. it's AMAZING.  The cost of living is ridiculous of course, but ..... beautiful, place.  You can read some more about it in my thread here if you like. Just look for the question about living in Alaska.
