I prefer dogs over cats any day because of gowing up with them and also being attacked by a cat in my sleep doesn't really help them out.

I'm more of a gold fish/guinea pig sort of person but I would say dogs. Much more fun and enjoyable. My gran had a cat and it was the most ungreatful creature ever, all it did was eat yell and scratch. Also they have an evil look in their eye. I suppose its because they can be self supporting and have been domesticated for only 3000 years.

I like cats better without a doubt, but then again that is probably only because I was raised with them my whole life. Right now we have to cats in this household and about 7 at my Grandmothers house. I also love dogs because I'm an animal person I love animals all kinds. I watch animal planet at less once per day. My favorite animal of all time is the Cheetah and then the Tiger very beautiful animals. Nothing is as cute as a baby Cheetah for those of you who haven't seen one I suggest you look one up I love the little white mowhawk they have growing up it's so cute.

Well I read in a study (I don't remember which website, I think it was the MSN website) and it said that about 70 % of people prefer dogs than cats. It also said the disadvantages of having each animal, I have had them both so I know that I like cats better. They are more clever than dogs for sure.

I like dogs better. They are more loyal, easier to teach, and seem to care about you. Every cat I've met is a greedy snooty little thing that believes it's the master and you're the pet. Sure, they can be easier to take care of sometimes, since they'll go off somewhere and do something and come back not hungry, and maybe award you with some attention now and then. I'm just not a cat person, and people I meet who like cats are usually weird, no offense.
