Here is where you can say who you're favorite Running Back is and why. Mine would have to be Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears because not only can he run but he can also catch passes with ease and he was willing enough to play for barely anything his first few seasons.

awesomenoobdude : Favorite running back? Alfred Morris of the Washington Redskins. The guy is so humble and he's a great ball player. Nobody expected him to do anything, especially in his rookie season. I like the fact that the Redskins drafted Chris Thompson from Florida State as a back-up, partially because I'm an FSU fan but also because Chris Thompson is an awesome runner.

First of all, let me start by saying Go Cowboys!!! And no disrespect Demarco, but I think Adrian Peterson is my favorite running back in the NFL for a few reasons. First and foremost, he's a BEAST!!! He runs like he's mad at the world. I wouldn't want to get in his way. He can run anybody over. Second, he's freaking fast. He's easily one of the top ten fastest running backs in the league if not better, so he's not just a power runner. But the icing on the cake for me was how fast he came back from his knee injury. And when he got back he upped his game. He's ridiculous.

Wasn't sure if you meant current or of all time. Regardless it's hard either way

Current: I'll give it to Adrian Peterson, I absolutely love his work ethic and his never say die attitude. If anyone can pass Barry Sanders as the best running back of all time right now, it's him. I'd like to have an honorable mention in this catorgery for Cedric Benson and Jonathon Dwyer, I love to see both of them play as well. Just something about them makes me have to root for them.

All time: Barry Sanders, he had a killer work ethic, he literally carried his whole team while he played. Everyone knew the ball was going to him and yet he still somehow managed to gain yards. Only down side was he called it quit early which sucked but it was for the best. He was actually able to walk away from this sport without any major injuries which is a true blessing, especially for how long he played. Honorable mention: Jerome Bettis and Willie Parker, I just loved how Jerome Bettis powered through everybody and Willie Parker's run in Superbowl 40 is what makes him a candidate on this list for me.
