if you don't mind I'm a newbie and I don't know how to upload video's to the YouTube vizzed account

If I make a video of a game that has videos but they are under 5 min, would I get credit for longer videos?

vanelan : make sure you aren't recording videos of games that already have videos on their page - castlevania iv and  punchout both have videos already so they do not count.

agnar: you did it all right except that everyone else has been leaving links to just the youtube videos they made, not linking to the vizzed page that the video is located on. i really don't know if it makes a difference to be honest that's prolly up to whoever winds up tallying.

Castlevania IV wasnt a gameplay video tho...its a joke video with beat it playing.

I have come across a problem that resulted in quite a few lost points off my score. When I look through the games, some of them display that there are no videos for them. So I record and upload the video with no problems. However, later on, when I check again, these same games that supposedly had no videos display that they had videos from last year. I used Pokémon Crystal version as an example and I took screen shots to prove my point.



The above screen shot shows that it says "There are no submitted videos for this game."



As my video was processing, my video was displayed as the only one.



This picture shows that my video, after being processed, was actually the THIRD video, not the first like it was shown before. The other two videos weren't displaying, though.

I would ask for a list, however, the list would be far too large and would take so much time for the person who did it. So instead, I would just like to know if there's a way around this problem? I tried browsing the Vizzed youtube page, but when I do a search for the specific game, odd results pop up. For example, I searched for Pokémon Crystal and the results included everything Pokémon related, and I couldn't seem to find what I was looking for.

Oh! And it seems I'm not the only one having this problem.

vanelan : Do you mean a video of you trying to get a high score? Yeah. You need to take the screenshots yourself. Press F6. If F6 doesn't work hold FN and F6. If you mean the screenshot that shows the video it will come soon. If takes a few hours to process. (that screenshot isn't the one you need to take) 

AgnarLotbrok : It doesn't matter if you leave the link to youtube or the video on vizzed. Looks good. It's worth 1 point. 

8bitNESPlayer : Nope you don't have to. You only need to upload a video and a screenshot. You can however reduce the size of the video using freemake. 

MokujinBandicoot : If you scroll down it should say Click here to upload your video to vizzed youtube. Click that and then fill everything out.

c0matoast : If doesn't matter if you add the youtube link or the link on vizzed. 

NeppyLeet : Sorry. I'm not sure what caused the problem. If you want you can ask me if a video was submitted already. Most games don't have videos though. And I'm pretty sure it is possible for this to be automated, but it would cause strain on the server.

Ah. I understand that. I don't know anything first hand about servers, but I've studied a bit about it before. And thank you so much for your response! It's unfortunate that it's happening, though. I'm sure this is what has been happening to others who post videos on games that already have them. I've been alert about it, though, so hopefully, my post is only new videos.

the very first line of this contest = "You will need to find games in the Retro Game Room that don't have any videos and submit a video to that game."

The upload takes soooooo much time... But I have some problems. When I upload,it goes good, but when the upload is finished ,it didn't happened anything.It goes back to the upload page. I also saw that the name in the address bar had TOKEN EXPIRED. Help?

Nickrj : Your movements were exactly the same during the end of the first level.
That made it suspicious. Keep in mind the quality of the video is more important than the length. You could have at least made an attempt to try the level differently than before.

robert_stefan12 : You can use free make to reduce the file size and making the uploads shorter. 

earthwarrior : i'm gonna go ahead and vouch for nick's video it definitely isn't a loop that's how the game plays, with the same couple levels repeated, he also dies a couple times.

I may not be David, but I believe I can answer your question.

There is a link on every game's page leading to an upload screen. Say you were putting up a video for Super Mario World. When you're on the Super Mario World page, scroll down until you see text that reads: "Super Mario World User Submitted Videos." There will be two links right below it. Read them carefully; the first one is a link to bring a video from your OWN youtube page and place it onto the Vizzed one. The second one is a link to a new page, prompting you to browse your computer files for the video, allowing you to send your video directly to Vizzed's youtube.
