Having problems with installing Vizzed RGR plugin

I've been trying to download the Vizzed RGR plug-in for many days now. It tells me the download was successful and to restart my browser. I did that,and when I go to play a game that requires it, it says the plug-in can't be found. I've tried on Google Chrom and Fire fox. I've tried uninstalling and installing it again,but my computer still won't recognize the plug in. The computer I'm using has Ubuntu as its OS. Is it just that I have an incompatible OS,or that the plug in is being saved into the wrong area on my hard drive?

PS : Whenever I play a game that doesn't require it,I never get sound. Help on both issues would be greatly appreciated.

Well for your first problem, there is written in the Help Center that the plugin only works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7: Help Center - Plugin Not Found
So, you'll only be able to play games without the Vizzed RGR plugin on your Ubuntu OS.

For the second problem, I don't know what it could be, because it works for me.

I figured that out after posting this. Is there anyway around this without having to go in and change my OS? Are there plans for making the plugin available for other operating systems?

Some people have had success in using a program to emulate Windows on their Macs or Linux computers by using software like Wine or VMware.

Otherwise you are free to use the Java emulators available that only require updated Java
