Choose a Pokémon from any generation that you find to be underrated (doesn't matter if you've actually used it or just know of it) and tell us of it while explaining why it is underrated in the first place. Feel free to include stats and reasons for its use. Try to compare it to overused Pokémon and explain why it should be used (even instead of in some circumstances).
I'm gonna start with poliwag it has similar stats to most water starters with the exception of having higher atk and spec. atk it also learns a variety of water type moves ( a lot earlier on as well) compared to most water starters. It also has a more diverse form of evolution giving multiple final Pokémon. It is often looked over due to decent water type starters and the fact that it mat be slightly weaker in comparison earlier on their is also the matter of evolutionary items but in m opinion this only adds more challenge.
