Didn't see one of these and decided there should be one.

This thread is for snowboarders to describe:
The board that they use.
Their favorite brand of snowboard.
Where they snowboard or have snowboarded
.How long they've snowboarded.
What they would consider themselves, amateur or pro.
What gear they use. Such as jacket brand, helmet brand, type of goggles, gloves boots and bindings. Etc, if I missed one.

Anything and everything else that we snowboarders want to talk about should also be spilled here.
(Certain tricks you know, favorite pro, general other stuff. )
If anyone is curious I can answer my own questions, but I feel a little weird posting for myself. Ha ha.

I have a nidecker axis 163.
its pretty big which is why I got it, most of the boards I looked at were too small for me.
its a pretty cool looking board, and compared to the hired boards I used before it cuts through bettet, is lighter, offers more control, greater speed, and most importantly, it looks cool =p
its got metal trim too which helps protect it from bashes.
my bindings are head px5. they are really easy to adjust and again, big enough for me.
theyre also yellow which is killer since my board is black.
iv stuck a stomp pad infront of the back binding too for better traction on the tows.
my helmet is reinforced carbon fibre, axon made.
boots are interchanger recon, not a lot to say, big, sturdy, reliable, comfy enough, good boots.
gloves and trousers I trash all the time so I dont have a set brand.
iv got a bulky northface snowboarding jacket which is great, I tend to overheat with it though. I tend to dress down when snowboarding, 15 minutes and youre self heating.
I havent left the country to snowboard yet, iv been snowboarding (thinks), damn, must be 6 years, wow, time flys.
im well above average but below pro, I dont know where on the scale id put myself.
if youre angry, sad, depressed or board (pun), flying down that hill just makes you king of the world.
love it.
what is your gear?

That is 5.5 more years than me ha ha. Started in December this year.
I use a Giro Surface S helmet. Burton Boots ( Can't remember the exact model. ) Grenade Matrix coat, Army Corps snowpants. Grenade gloves, yowie face mask. Spy Targa II goggles. Is my gear.

My board is 150cm Santa Cruz Vato All star, which is a bi-directional free-ride board but I still use it on park, like pipes and rails. With a Dakine stomp pad next to the back binding so I can ride with only one foot and do little tricks like that. I have the newest version of the Burton Custom bindings ( White) And I love them, they're flexible and playful with my stiff board.
I've only been to Marquette Mountain and Boyne Mountain.
