I will pay you some viz, if you can help me find the ultimate, sweetest best RPG! I need something that's not so mainstream because I have probably played it trust me lol I like RPG'S with a recruiting system, or mercantile system. I like when you equip armor and weapons seeing the change on your characters. I love the open world explore everything environment's, including towns, pots, dressers, bails of hay, etc.  So I am open to any suggestions, and I look forward to your comments. Thanks everyone!

Ok I will tell you some of my favorite rpgs. Sega Genesis- Shinning in the Darkness, Shinning Force, Shinning Force 2, Phantasy Star 4, Phantasy Star 3, Dungeons and Dragons Warrior's of the Eternal Sun. Sega CD- Eye of the Beholder (also on the Super Nintendo but the CD version is much better). Sega Master System- Phantasy Star. I hope you love at least one of these games =) and if you do don't worry about the Viz man, I am just trying to help you out.

i recommend star ocean if you haven't tried it im sure theres an english translated rom of it for snes on here! theres also a multitude of hacks of final fantasy fire emblem chrono trigger and pokemon on the RGR if you havent noticed! pretty neat stuff really. i've been on the lookout for some new rpg's myself.

Dragon Warrior III is a really good RPG that I've played in the past. You can pretty much create your own characters (choose their classes and add stats seeds to start with, so they're a little customizable) and find all sorts of gear. There's a lot to do in that game, so I would definitely check it out. I'd do the one under the Gameboy Color one, since there's more stuff in that remake.

I find the sweetest RPG to be Megaman Battle Network 3 Blue. It's quite difficult but totally epic. Also, you would have to play Megaman Battle Network 2 first.

Are you talking about on Vizzed, or just period? Defiance is a pretty good one, and I am a hard critic. However, on site, most Pokémon hacks and legend of Zelda games are pretty good. And listen to earth... he knows what he is talking about.

well before you do close this, I am interested in posting a couple off-site suggestions. BioWare makes great RPGs. I haven't played Mass Effect yet, but those are supposed to be superb and very similar to the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series. I highly recommend these during a Steam sale. KOTOR 1 and 2 were the best few dollars I've ever spent!
