Parodius is the Parody of Gradius....
So what would you rather play based on the game itself?

For me I prefer the Parodius due to the selection of characters.

I prefer the way that Parodius' levels are. I think there is also more imagination, however I do love Gradius almost as much. I also like how there are selectable characters in Parodius which replaces the powerup select screen.

Yeah the levels in Parodius are unique and so are the bosses making it slightly better for me in my opinion.
and since you can't select every upgrade you want they are already in sets it gives some challenge to it.
