Hello! I actually hardly ever nickname my Pokemon, I find it too confusing. I only name my Pokemon for important purposes. My favourite Pokemon nickname has to be Sophie for Mudkip. I named it after my girlfriend. If you actually think about it. Mudkip does suit that name!

 I don't name my Pokemon but I did name one called magma which was a magmar I raised in Pokemon Orb (a gameboy color hack of Pokemon gold which you can play on the site). Its the only seemingly good name I could  thought of for that Pokemon   .

Actually, I just remember. I had a Poochenya (or however you spell that mutt's name) one time, and I named is Jacob because it looked like on of my old dogs. I never really used it though. I do not really like dark types.

I name every single Pokémon I catch, It's so boring if they have their original names.... It would make game more funny, if trainers who challenge you had named their Pokémon's too, but I guess game makers are so lazy that they wont do that. I remember that when I catched Grimer and it evolved to Muk, I named her BIG MAMA, and Snorlax was BIG DADDY... And Weezing was BIG SMOKE.

I nickname the  normal regular Pokémon X- followed by a number, which is based off of the order I caught them in (for example X-1 for the starter, and then X-2 following what ever I catch next and so forth). I nickname the legendary Pokémon using the same principle only instead of X- what ever number I use Y- what ever number.
