Well, I'm kinda sick of Google and Yahoo now. Microsoft just came out with Bing! This thing might seem nothing special but try doing a search, the descriptions are much cleaner then Google or Yahoo and more lengthy. Although they could try using a different color scheme cause it seems too google to me but overall... Bing looks like it could evolve into better searching in my opinion.

Anyway what do you think about it? Yahoo and Google are so... 1990's time to upgrade in my opinion lol. Still though... I do feel searching can be done "differently" and I plan to help fill that gap shortly What do you think about it? Give it a test.

interesting....I like the little pop-up on the side of each search that gives more info.... I definitely will try this out more when I'm actually looking for something to see how it compares to google...

To me this is a better search engine than google right now. I love it and I use it every once and a while. But i still use google quite a bit.

I think it needs a lot of work personally.
Like the image search tries to search every picture it can find instead of having a limit per page.
Sure it stops loading till you scroll further sometimes, but when you do scroll its like loading another page on top of what you already have.
That and the fact that all scrolling must be performed in the box? Nope, don't like it.
It's just another gimmick.

And yeah, I did a side by side with google and the search results wernt more detailed or anything.
New doesnt mean better. I'll stick with google, simple and easy to use.

Wow this looks really nice. Although I'm more of a Yahoo user. I use the Yahoo search engine mostly.
Reason why is Yahoo is my home page because I use them as my e-mail adress.
And I like how Yahoo has four interesting topics on the front page, so I know when something big has happened.

my wife said she has started using it (through IE I think).... because it automatically was taking her there when she tried to search instead of google and she really likes it. She says it works just as well if not better than google...

I'm not sure how good it is but I figure having more search engines can't be a bad thing. I'd rather have more than just the 2 main ones we used to have.

accualy the search engine bing is not really new the original site was called live if you type in www.live.com it will take you to bing so the site just went through a name change

Google I find to be more simple. It loads much faster, especially on Images. It is just another attack against the world they once ruled. Apple is eating up software sales, Nintendo and Sony in consoles, and Google and Yahoo in online software. It is still innovative, but too much of a good thing isn't nessesarly cool.
