play pokemon silver. no hacks allowed.

you may only use poison pokemon.

you must release your starter as soon as you get pokeballs. you cannot catch non poison pokemon besides ditto. (you may use hm slaves specifically for out of battle hm use only)

some poison pokemon that appear early in the game are spinark, bellsprout, zubat, ghastly, ekans

you must screen shot your lineup during every gym battle and also screenshot the gym leader's last pokemon. also do this for elite 4 battles.

the first person to reply to this thread with the appropriate screenshots for all 16 gym battles and all elite 4 battles will win 15k Viz.

bonus: the person to post a screenshot of your lineup and the last pokemon during the red battle, wins 5k.

the same person can win both for a total of 20k Viz.

**dual types are allowed, as long as one of the types is poison. (poison/flying, grass/poison, bug/poison etc.)

PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE THE APPROPRIATE SCREENSHOTS. If you forget to take the screen shots, Ill ask you to redo the battle, so save often.

Ok quick question do we release our starter after we catch a poison pokemon? or after we get a hm slave?

once you get pokeballs for the first time, you must immediately catch a poison pokemon and then release your starter.

bobq : Will I gain bonus vizzed If I go through the full game with Kakuna ( not evolving it or anything? )

no to the kakuna comment, and yes dual types are allowed, as it says in the first post.

bobq : so knowing Jasmine is going to be the biggest problem I'm going to get a line-up of pokemon,
most likely crobat, the two nidos possibly an aridos or venomoth and most obviously a haunter.

you dont have to tell me whos in your lineup, I just have to see the proper screenshots

bobq : May I add a little note to your first post? If so can you add use save states instead of in game saves I was going to watch a show and I saved inside the game and closed it restarted the game and it ended up being deleted.

congrats to pokemon x for winning the 15k challenge. he sent me a pm containing the second half of the required screenshots. He also beat red for the bonus 5k, so this thread can be closed.
