Well, yea. It was just horrible in my books even though I am not much of a movie critic. I think that the action was bad and like you said, the main parts a movie needs.

B-Movies are an aquired taste.
Some things are bad ideas but so bad they work.
Then there are the things that are too bad to even be taken positively.
I am the kinda in the middle with the Live Action Version of Dragon Ball.

The Only Real Mistake was that they Tried to Redo Goku and keep all of the other stuff. I half expected a walking and Talking Pig.
You can not change what made the Story popular without upsetting ....all the fans. Then Keep the Capsules and other elements that do not make any sense???

Again.. I was not rushing to theatres to see the thing.
I had no Idea it happened till I graced a $5.00 Movie Bin at Wal-mart.
I knew it was going to be bad when I saw the Cover.

I dont know why Bad movies like this sometimes have to be made.

I'll edit this post Later.

I am not sure if this is just a bad movie or if it suffers from the "Legend of Zelda II/Super Mario Bros 2" complex. When you get hardcore fans with expectations and you get something that isn't even remotely what made you love the show, you can't look past it. Maybe if this weren't made to be a Dragonball Z movie and replaced all the elements such as names and objects (such as the actual dragonballs and whatnot), it might be a decent movie since you aren't comparing it to something so amazing. But on the other hand, I typically can look past comparing things like the movie to games, so I will go with this movie just being very bad.

This is a great example of what not to do.

The Writer of that show wanted to make a new tale. He had no idea of what Dragon Ball Was. Then he has to catch up to over 30 years worth of material?

This is a studio bungle that happens in Hollywood.

Money does not buy everything. (Like say 30 years of info to be assimilated in a couple of days.)

If any of us are serious about telling a tale...
Then viewing the flops are a must.

Till the "Gong show" was invented. Everyone wanted to be on T.V.
Then for some odd reason people went back to work and did their work well.

The modern world wants us to think that we all can be Movie Stars, Rock Gods, Great Artists and Writers.
The truth is Very different.

How can anyone get the job done right without seeing a little failure?
Just a thought.
