well let me see if i can explain it to you mate. first form what i have heard if your pokemon fight very speedy pokemon like flying type than it self will after training will gain more speed than anything thing else this is very helpful to make good speedy sweepers also it helps make you walls even better. second ev training can help with bad natures nice if you have a bad natured pokemon that reduced the wrong stat you can ev train it to gain the t=stat that needs the gain i think thats how it works anyway

Each Pokemon will add points toward a specific stat to the pokemon that beat it. This becomes more effective the more pokemon that give that stat are beat with that pokemon. This allows for higher stats than the base. Also, buying drugs increases one of these stats effort values by 10.

Ok so basically ev training is where points are put into stats every 4 points of evs raise the stat (excluding health evs for shedninja) There's a limit of 252 per stat and I think 556 per pokemon, every pokemon (wild or not) gives out ev points and vitimans raise evs by 10 and wings raise them by 1 , there are items such as macho brace which 2x ev growth and power bands which add evs every battle.
