Uh Yeah! Some of my friends told me to play Pokemon Emerald with just a Mudkip, Shroom, and magikarp and get magikarp to level 20. I had no idea what they were talking about till I saw. I never passed up the moment of getting a early magikarp to raise in the early game.

It actually took me a while to take the time and actually train the darn thing. But once I did I will say I was a bit shocked to find that it evolved into a flying water type pokemon with really good stats!
