Okay, the main issue I'm having on whether or not I should have her come is that: I'd have to clean the place, It's a two bed apartment with two people, she's a she and I'm a he, and worst of all is that my school is full of perverted guys.
She's also from my home country, Turkiye, but she speaks German. I don't know much Turkish and I definitely don't know German. I'd hate to not be able to tell her something because we can't speak the same language.

On the plus side we got: I get to show someone the greatness of video games, I'll never be bored  sitting alone in the house writing on forums, and I get to learn about er culture.

What do you think. If you've ever had an exchange student live with you, or even come to your school, what was it like?

I think it's great to learn about different cultures, even if it may be a little hard or awkward, it won't kill you and you will likely have great memories from such things.

The only real issue you mentioned was the fact that she's a she and you're a he. You firstly want to make sure she knows this. Also, how much will you two be home alone? She may be uncomfortable or it may get people talking, so just make sure you think of that too.

But all in all, learning about different people and cultures (despite language differences) should be done as much as possible.

I hope she can speak English. As far a gender, I think that she knows about me, but I've never actually talked to her or seen her. I'm thinking about talking to her now so when we meet it won't be as awkward (it was set up by our parents).
