For those that have played it, you know that SFA differed from the other starfox games to an extreme degree. Reason being, it was intended to be a game called dinosaur planet. This game looked a lot like starfox adventures and it used the game engine from Ocarina of Time. Which is why SFA plays so much like a Zelda game. Through its development, Myamoto noticed that one of the characters looked a lot like fox, and that's how the game was changed to a starfox game. While I appreciate the game for what it is, I would have preferred a more traditional starfox game, or a game like SFA that didn't have such a huge focus on dinosaurs, which I really didn't like.

What is your opinion of that whole game?

I was really disappointed how the arwing stages were cut down by like 90%. Although the environments were really well done and the fact Fox used a bo staff (one of my all time favourite weapons : D), it doens't feel the same. I felt it focused too much on on foot combat when it was originally a space shooter. Starfox Assault seemed to understand a balance for this, it's just a shame that Adventure didn't do the same.

I quite enjoyed the game. I enjoy all Star Fox games, however even though it doesn't stand out, you get to know more of the characters and the Star Fox crew than in any other game. It also made way for a new member well.. actually two, Tricky and Krystal (wish she kept her magic bo staff after she joined though). Even though it wasn't going to have Fox and crew I think Rare ran out of time (since they got sold shortly after to Microsoft) to scrap everything and start over again.

Careidina : It has been said that rare was in a rush to complete the game because they were about to be bought be Microsoft. And I did enjoy the bit of character development SFA added.

While I appreciate it for what it was, I really don't think a dinosaur planet really fits in with starfox.

Sword legion: I really didn't like the fact that in one fell swoop they cancelled an entire new series. All games now are either one of nintendo's main series or some random game where you do one stupid thing the entire time.

If you want to see which series that they really car about see which ones appeared in Nintendo land for the Wii U.



They ignore Kid Icarious, Star Fox and Mother despite how much people loved these games.

I think that they should just sell the rights to the games ( except for Smash Bros) So that

I enjoyed the game. May not have been the best Star Fox game, but I enjoyed the game as it was: a game. The combat did get a bit repetitive (there are few enemies, if any, you actually needed your magic to kill), but I liked the environments the game presented you with. Call me an explorer.

I just wish they did a better job of putting Andross in there. They literally cheesed out the General Scales fight just to put him in. I'd at least have liked a chance to fight the guy who had been hounding me the entire game just to put a few dents in his skull if nothing else, THEN have Andross chased out of him because he became completely useless.
