pandas can be quite cute, but they arent one of my favourites.
Its not easy for most people to see them though, china only gives them to those they consider friends, and only on loan. Even if they have a kid, china owns that too.

As you people know, the bamboo is a plant that grows very very slowly...

So screw the pandas. I would worry more about wolves and grizzly bears who actually have a place in a ecological cycle. I don't wish pandas should be exterminated, I just think they are over rated and no, they should not be made as pets.
