Contribution Point System
I've been working on this feature for 3 weeks now so I'm very excited to finally introduce you all to the Contribution Point System.

This new point system is a measure of how much you contribute to the site. Almost every action on the site now has CP and Viz attached to it. The higher your CP is, the more features that will be available to you and the more respected you'll be among the staff and the rest of the users. It will also increase your chances of becoming a staff member.

That page will show every single action, a description, the amount of CP and Viz each action is worth, daily limits based on powerlevel, how many points you've earned for each action, and more.

Moderators have the ability to track all Contribution Actions and they also have the ability to remove points that you earn from certain actions so if you're caught abusing the system in any way, you'll be stripped of your points and probably banned.

As time goes on, I'll add more actions to the list of actions that award you Viz and CP.


User Submitted Game Content
Users with a power level of "Normal" and above now have the ability to add content and change content on games.

Here's how it works: Each game page has a link that you can click that opens up a window with all kinds of data that you can change for a game. If a game is missing any information, you simply click to add it and a staff member will review your request. If your request is a good request, a staff member will accept your request and your content will be added to the game's page and you'll be granted CP and Viz.

If you submit bad content, you'll be at risk of being down rated by a staff member and users with less than 0 Trust Points can't submit content.

Users can also submit content to games in the Video Game Room.

In the future I'll make it so that you can add graphics to games and also add missing games.

Want to become a Site Staff member?
Anyone (who is is 13 or older) who can get 750+ points this month or next month will qualify for a staff position. If you get 750+ this month or next month, send me a Private Message letting me know and I'll look into the action log and if your earned your points legitimately, I'll give you a Site Staff position. The position I give you will probably be based on whatever actions you got the most points in.

earthwarrior : I'd base it on whatever action you had the most points in. The age requirement is 13+.

Sorry, it might seem to you like that is all anyone is interested in. So, yeah. I have looked it over and I think the new CP system will be incredibly beneficial to the site. Especially with me soon to be working 24/7 to get 750+ points.

ender44 : So many users want to be staff but throughout the history of vizzed, it's been almost impossible to know how much they're willing to contribute to the site. Now we finally have a way of knowing by basing it off of how many CP points they have.

Does the 750 points have to be in one single month, or spread out throughout the two? Just wondering to see how much time I have or if I should just wait until next month.
Also, now I finally have some motivation to write up that review for Tetris the Grandmaster 2.

Quick question about the site staff thing would boxart adder be a option? (Would really like to get my old position back since computer works perfectly for couple months now.)

ender44 : It'd depend on how you earned your points. If you earned your points reviewing games, you'd get the position of game reviewer.

SuperCrash64 : They'll automatically get to it. For now it'll take probably up to 72 hours but once the staff get things under control, it'll take no more than 24 hours.

Xzman : If we added a PC game section, it'd be for information, reviews, etc, the games wouldn't be playable or downloadable.
