You mean you're trying to set up your gamepad, but it instead is set to the T key?

Oh ok. I thought you were talking about a usb controller. I don't have as much experience with setting the keyboard controls. I've only done that once or twice.

Have you tried it with another key? Also, maybe make sure num lock and caps lock are off.

mister sandman : There is a thread that gives you suggestions if your control configuration isn't working correctly for GBA games. There are some people that report this issue with the primary GBA emulator that the RGR uses.

I would suggest using the secondary emulator "Mednafen" this should clear up any issues you are having with regards to setting up the controls.

In order to use this emulator, load the game like you normally would, then click the link in the upper left hand corner of the game window Labeled "Play using Mednafen"

This emulator also allows full-screen for the systems that it supports. With the game window active, Press Alt+Enter on your keyboard.

mister sandman : Hmm. That seems strange to me as I have not heard someone that has the same issue on all emulators and ALL systems. This seems to be a problem that is local to your PC setup.

Have you have gone through trying the suggestions in this thread?:
