I personally prefer Dragon Quest, guess I just liked the simple game play, played the first six on emulator when I was young.

I don't play either one but I will have to go with final fantasy. First off, I am going to start playing final fantasy because, I think it is good my frind got me hooked on it. He is my friend in real life, but I still think final fantasy is better big time. Good review as well, I hope many people will comment.

Out of the two i have to say Final Fantasy! Though people may complain that the quality of the games have declined...  It's hard to please such a large fan base.. It's obvious to see that with the changes they keep making to the battle system that they are trying to find something that people will like.. but i believe that to be a impossible task.. People like to complain a lot after all about small trivial things

I could say Dragon Quest Series because they don't have loads of annoying characters like Final Fantasy. Plus DQ became famous before FF so FF definitely copied off their styles .

This is an easy one. Final Fantasy is much better. I really wish there a contemplation of all of the games into one giant collection for XBOX 360. I would save up for that joker, and buy it as soon as I had enough.
