What is your favorite Sonic game and why? My favorite is sonic the hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis. There's not really much I can say about sonic 2 that hasn't already been said so ill tell you why my second favorite sonic game is on my top ten. Knuckles Chaotix for the 32x. Knuckles chaotix was the breath of fresh air that the sonic series needed. Unlike other sonic games where the second player could be there or not and you wouldn't notice, in chaotix you are attached to your second player with a magical ring. The rubber band physic's gives this game the need for cooperation and strategy that the other sonic games just didn't have.

Either Sonic 3, or Sonic 3D blast. Sonic 3 just because it felt more polished than the first two, and 3D blast because it was so daring. It took a risk and in my opinion, the risk paid off.

I also want to say Sonic 2 with Sonic and Knuckles. Why? because Knuckles showed you how superior he was in that world. lol Made the game 10 times easier.
