I am trying to play games in the retro game room, and when I do play I can't play because I can't change the controls. I know how to open the configuration for the controls but I can't change the controls because it won't let me. I checked to see if there was any forums for this problem but I can't find any. Can anyone help me out?

Try using the "Mednafen" emulator instead. To do so, load the game like you normally would, then click the link found in the upper left hand corner of the game window. Labeled "Play using Mednafen"

This should allow you to re-configure the controls. It also has full-screen support. To do this press ATL+Enter on your keyboard with the game window active.
