does anyone know how to run torrent files that i can ACTUALLY play??? ive downloaded so many games but i can never run the games. like when i downloaded sims 2, it downloaded the file and stuff but it wouldnt let me run the game. it kept saying that windows didnt recognize the system file or somethin like that. and when i downloaded fallout 3 it took THREE DAYS!!! i was sooo excited when it finished but when i tried to open and run it the link was broken. i need help can someone give me any urls to torrent sites that WORK?!?!?!

first off, this belongs here and not in the newbie forum... think about the name of the forum before you post in there.... make sure the topic is relevant.

second, what were the file formats that you downloaded? it's very possible that there are other steps required to get the game ready before you can play it. There are very very few torrents that are ready to go right after you download them.

third, I'm not sure what else I can say yet.... give us info on the second topic and we'll probably be able to point you in the right direction.

When you download a game like Fallout 3 in a torrent file it is normally a single file called an image or iso.
You need to get a program called an image mounter program to run the game like it was the real game disk.
You can get a good free image mounting program from http://www.daemon-tools.cc/

When looking for torrents, look at the comments people have left to see if it is the right file mentioned and see how many "Seeds" (or it will just say "S" with a number next to it) the torrent has.
The more Seeds the faster you will be able to get it.

The best way to learn about these is to read a guide or the help file on the torrent program site.
I recommend using µTorrent from http://www.utorrent.com/ as its one of the best and easiest to use torrent programs I have found so far.
