Well, some of you guys know my love of a video game series called heroes of might and magic. It sort of fell off the face of the earth in the 90's, though I still love it. Heroes of might and magic was a strategy game where you build up a castle and an army and try to conquer the land. Does anyone on vizzed still play this series? And if so, which is your favorite game?

I vividly remember loving the heck out of this series.  I played it all the time when I got to spend a weekend at my Dad's house.  I wish I had a computer that could play it ... most of those older games don't run well on the newer operating systems.

I also remember it going a bit crazy by the end.  I think it went from being that 'build an empire' style game to an RPG style.  I could be wrong, but that sounds familiar.  I stopped liking it because of that, though.  Perhaps I was just misdirected, I was pretty young at the time.

Absolutely. I have a quest going on 5 right now. I've been rocking this game out since it was called King's Bounty on the Sega Genesis. (Which is totally one of the gems on this sight) Great game that can keep you busy for hours. My favorite thing to do was sit back and build a massive army then just annihilate everything in a few minutes.
