I prefer Low Carb Monsters. I have to have my Monster, but at the same time, I am trying to get into shape.

Monster is my favorite energy drink, especially the green ones , but the red Amp drinks is a close second, and is it true they are trying to get energy drink age restrictions in some states in the U.S.?

Whatever is cheap and without sugar. They pretty much taste all the same

I like drinking rip it. It taste delicious, and It has different flavors to it that's especially why I like it.

I don't trust energy drinks. Even plain coffee is way too much for me these days.

I don't trust energy drinks either.  However, I was really addicted to them in college when I discovered them.  I'm not entirely sure why I liked them anyways, because I've always had a high metabolism and they never did much for me.  However, I fell in love with the variety of flavors that aren't offered in normal sodas.  Now, before anyone takes that the wrong way, I actually think the vast majority of energy sodas taste quite nasty.  The select few I like, I am absolutely in love with because of their flavors.

My favorite?  It was the guava flavored rockstars that came in gorgeous pink cans.

Sadly, it seems like ALL the gas stations around here stopped carrying them.  I think Rockstar might have quit making them.  It's probably a good thing, because I have NEVER enjoyed the taste of anything more than these.  I could drink ten of these a day and still feel like my mouth is having the experience of its life.

I'm so, SO sad I will probably never taste another one again. *sighs*

Well, since those are gone, I find the more subtle energy drinks to be to my taste.  I like NOS's Citrus flavored drinks in the green cans, and the Full Throttle citrus flavored one.  I could drink one of these a day without getting tired of them.  Only reason I don't is money and health.

If I'm not in the mood for those?  Something flavored like fruit punch... usually NOS brand since they come in big blue bottle.

I never even liked the taste of anything they sell over here. I guess you might have better ones. But I am hyper enough even without them. And I very rarely drink any sodas. I prefer fruit juices.

Over here,by the way, they are gathering up a petition that all energy drinks should be banned from anyone under the age 16. What do you think of that people? Personally, well it is kind of harsh to say I would not care, but only doubt it will change anything. The 16 year olds will buy them to the younger kids and being "forbidden" just will make it more appealing. There are now pretty much names in that petition and if it will get more, by law the parliament will have to vote if it is going to be an actual law so who knows. It might happen.

So what do you guys think?

As unhealthy as they might be, I think it's kind of strange to restrict them to 16 years and older.  I mean, I know plenty of young kids who drink coffee every morning.  (Odd concept to me, but it seems to be getting more frequent.  Why do young kids need coffee?!)  Maybe the energy drinks over there are more of a concern?  They are all the craze here, and there are easily scores and scores of flavors and brands, with maybe half a dozen of -well- known brands.

You are right about the results though.  Just like older kids buy beer for younger kids.... nothing will stop younger kids from getting energy drinks.  Especially since they aren't something worth being banned in my opinion.  People's health choices are their own to make, and placing restrictions on who can drink what will only make those things seem more glorious.

Powerade and Gatorade do not count as energy drinks...

Lucozade Original does it for me lol great taste great energy always keeps me going long enough to finish whatever game I'm playing =P

my favorite energy drink has to be the original AMP. That flavor. It's not to tangy or sour, it's just right. The reason why I hate monsters is because it has to much bite. AMP has no bite, and give you hours of energy. 

My favorite energy drink is classic Red Bull. Really awesome tasting.

Gave up energy drinks as obligation by my family for Lent.

I don't follow the ideals of it, but it makes an excellent point on giving things up to better yourself.

Grades have been much higher, and I've been more focused.

Second favorite is Monster Assault.
