Hello everyone, I'm new here at the site and so far I'm liking it. I just have a few questions that I feel the need to ask though. I hope they can be answered though.

I love the selection you guys have, and I have a game-pad for my computer, is there a way for me to connect my game-pad to the game room so I'm not pulling my hair out when I make a wrong jump in Mario, miss a shot in contra, get to slow in casltevania, or not be able to maneuver quite well in Zelda.

My next question is that is there a way to connect with other users playing the same game I.e. Pokémon. Is there a way to battle and trade with other users? I love Pokémon and I also like to trade and battle with other fellow trainers.

My next question is that do you have to pay Viz to play a game? Or do you have to buy the game to play it? Is it worth just buying the game rather then just "renting" or does it all not matter?

Speaking of Pokémon Is it possible to have you own saves files? Mainly because I don't want to log 10+ hours in a game only to lose it all the next time I log back on the next day.

Anyway you guys can tell my favorite game is Pokémon, [Cant Wait for Pokémon X&Y!] So ill leave you with this saying and my stance on Pokémon.

As Karen once said and I live by this quote whenever I play Pokémon. "Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win with the Pokémon they love best." I don't like spending hours on hours ev training my Pokémon or using Pokémon that everyone uses, it takes away from what Pokémon was about. To trade and battle your friends using YOUR favorites!

Hello and welcome to vizzed!  That's quite an introduction you gave us there, and lengthy ones are always my favorite!  It shows that you might possibly invest some time here, and nothing is better than having fellow gamers to talk and play with!

I'm not sure what a gamepad is myself, but if it meant to be used in a PC, you should be able to configure it to the emulator.  How you do that would depend on the system you're playing, however.  You might want to try double clicking the screen, pressing tab, or pressing escape.

As for playing games together, only games which require one system can be played with other gamers here.  For example, GBA games can't be played with other users because doing so in real life would require more than one console and a linking cord.  Also, MAME (arcade) games can't be played with other users.

The way you play with other users is through use of netplay.  You can't create a netplay session without first purchasing a netplay item with your viz, the site's currency.  However, you CAN join sessions that other people have created.

Saving games?  Before you close the game, hit F2.  Then, next time you open the game, hit F4!  Presto!  Saved game loaded!

Welcome to Vizzed. Looks like Singelli has already answered all of your questions pretty well. And yeah, I myself use a gamepad. What kind do you have? Mine is like a Playstation controller, and has a second controller connected to it. As for using them, just plug them in, and use the plugin menu to adjust the settings. To access MAME controls menu, press Esc, most others you can just double click on the game screen. If this does not work for you, there should be instructions on the game page.

Anyway, glad to have you join us. Maybe we could play something via netplay sometime.

Alright thanks you guys but no one answered my question on the how much it costs for playing the games. I mean is it like a per minute, hour, pay one time but to play again you have to pay again. Because if its per hour I think ill wait and save my points, I hate being cut off because I ran out of money, especially during the climax of an epic battle!

Also cool backgrounds! I've been trying to figure out how to do that and change my avatar to something awesome, just cant seem to find how to do so. I would love to have one of my own if its possible. Maybe something with an epic mewtwo. But anyway I digress, it would be nice to know how much it cots to play the games so I know when to play and when to save.
