That's right. I finally hit 20,000 posts! This is one of the few milestones that I am not 2nd to hit on Vizzed.

And it has taken me a long time to make my way through the last 1,000 posts to get here. I went pretty inactive last year so it has taken me a very long time to finally get here.

It is nice to finally be here to take the pressure off. I've been wanting to hit this milestone for a while now but I lacked the motivation to post enough to do it.

I fully intend to catch Leggy after this and take back my top 2 spot. However, I don't think I'll ever catch David again. If I ever do it will take me another year or 2 and I don't know if I'll be active enough.

Now it's party time!

He's 6,000 posts ahead of me right now and even if I could out-post him for the next 2 years I would have to nearly double his post count that entire time in order to accomplish that and I don't see it happening. I've been ahead of him before which is enough.

geeogree : I currently plan on going for 5,000... I am so close to 4,000, then hopefully getting into a top 25 spot in terms of post counts. I think I can get 7,500, maybe even 10,000 by the end of the year if I try hard enough, and keep up my posting like I have been doing lately.

yeah, getting another 3,500 to hit 7,500 by the end of the year is possible. 10,000 is a stretch though. That's 500+ per month for the rest of the year. That's not easy to maintain.

Wow, that's awesome geeogree -- congratulations on getting to 20,000.   My largest post count anywhere was on the old Acmlm's Board and that was barely above 2,500 posts.    I don't think I'll ever get to that number again in my lifetime, but it's good to see veterans still posting on a regular basis.
