I started reading the Dark Tower series about 5 months ago and just finished the last book last night. What an amazing piece of work.
Has anyone on here read it? I am dying to talk about it with someone.
For those who do not know what it is picture Lord of the Rings meets Sergio Leone(Spaghetti Westerns) meets Walking Dead. Or kind of like the Harry Potter series on a large dose of mescaline.
A movie would be difficult to make because it is 7 books each between 0400-1200 pages But man I would love to see someone take a crack at it.
Any thoughts?

It is a very intricate story. Kind of hard to summarize. But it basically is about a "Gunslinger" character named Roland and his quest to find this dark tower. The story is kind of like Stephen King's self proclaimed epic. It takes so many twists an turns and goes into so many different worlds from New York in the 60s,70,80's and modern day. There is the world where the story takes place called "Mid-world" Which is like a western meets post apocalyptic America. Roland and his group travel to these alternate realities all leading to his quest to reach the Dark Tower. I highly recommend it especially if you are a Stephen King fan. He touches on like 15 different books he has written in the past. If you are a fan of his work it is a must read.
