When notorious serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) escapes from death row and embarks on a new killing spree, the FBI calls former agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) to consult on the case. Having since withdrawn from the public eye, Hardy was responsible for Carroll’s capture in 2003, after Carroll murdered 14 female students on the Virginia college campus where he taught literature. Hardy is a walking textbook of all-things Carroll. He knows him better than anyone; he is perhaps Carroll’s only psychological and intellectual match. But the Ryan Hardy who broke the Carroll case years ago isn't the same man today. Wounded both physically and mentally by his previous pursuit of this serial killer, it’s been a long time since Hardy has been in the field. This investigation is his redemption, his call to action.

So I made this thread to decisions this new thriller and I hope you check it out.

geeogree :  It's actually super good.  It's been a long time since I saw a modern show that I could say I liked.... and this one is excellent.  I love thriller movies, and this is definitely one of them. I'd highly suggest it.  If you can't catch it on cable, you should try catching it on hulu.  I think they'll only keep the more recent two or three episodes up though, so you might want to hop on that right away so you can see the season from the beginning.

hellno163 : Emma was ordered to keep joey safe and the phone call she got was from Rodrick(one of the unknowns) even tho you don't hear the conversation,  Rodrick tells Emma to get joey out of there and meet up with the female cop in the woods who works with Rodrick. Rodrick also sends two highly trained man to the farm as well where they kill 2 swat officers and takes there clothes and kills the others swat offices once they enter the house. 

The only thing I didn't understand about that episode was why didn't Kevin B. didn't shoot out the tires when Emma was getting away.

Okay, I just finished the first episode (and thankfully didn't read the replies in this thread so I didn't learn anything I shouldn't yet) and I'm pretty interested.

I've got up to episode 7 downloaded (don't know how many there are yet) and I plan to watch them over the next couple days to get caught up. My wife tried watching it with me and she wasn't a fan of the blood in the early part of the episode which is understandable.
