What do you think the next Star Wars films are going to be like?

I think they will have a decent plotline, a good story, and the movies will have shout outs to the older movies every now and then. And everyone except for die-hard fans will love it. Guys, if you're going to say a movie will suck, explain WHY the movie will suck. When you don't, you look like a whiny baby. Do you guys think the writers DON'T know how touchy making Star Wars is? Of course they know about how loyal a fanbase the franchise has, they know better than to screw everything up. If you have doubts on J.J Abrams you should see the TV shows he did (Lost, Fringe, Allias, and a few others.). Not only that, but they hired some really good writers just for this movie. This isn't going to be a stereotypical "Disney Movie" that the company has become infamous for.

I don't know, honestly I'm not super exited or whatever because it's like, the original Star Wars movies were absolutely the coolest movies that I've ever seen and I don't really need any more movies:/ like the legacy of the movies is so good and I hope Disney doesn't ruin it

I dunno if I made up my mind about this one yet...I am gonna wait and see the trailers and check out the reviews.

Well if they took it away from Lucas, they can't possibly be as bad as episodes I-III. It's a crapshoot honestly. The first trilogy was absolutely epic, though I seriously doubt that they can revive the saga after George already drowned and decapitated it with Episode 1

Here's what I'm hoping:

Something to do with the New Jedi Order. Luke Skywalker is somewhat of a legend, but he isn't involved. It's not just a "sith strike back" as it most likely will be. There will actually be a story to it beyond the rise of a new Darth Vadeer...who will most likely be Anakins son that no-one knew about.

Anything other than some clichéd crap. I didn't think the prequels were that bad...heck, I almost preferred them to the original trilogy. I don't know why at all. A lot of people don't like them much for some reason.

I imagine that they're going to be closer to my style of movies: oriented towards children. I have a feeling they'll be quite different than the older movies and may even be animated, like the new series on TV.
