Hi guys, I'm going to start posting weekly threads every Tuesday from now on, just thought I'd let you know!

What I want to know for this particular thread is what video game era you grew up in , what console drew you into the vast world that is video gaming? what game was so amazing that it made hours feel like minutes? and most importantly, what do you think of consoles from your childhood compared to consoles of the current generation?

Feel free to post here, but I ask all fan boys to refrain from bashing other gamers

oh?what is this? a thread for me? (kidding) anyways, final fantasy 4. i just got a re-make for psp (just graphic changes, nothing major.) and i kept playing till i was finished. (and after that, i played the interlude and now, I'm playing the after years.)i mean, its just so addictive and its considered a classic so.. yea.. i just got it a couple days ago to (the interlude was kinda short. it just basically connected the two games.) anyways, you ever played it?

i grew up with the PS2 and my favorite game for the Ps2 is the kingdom hearts series i love the game the story the message and i love how they are making a 1.5 remix for the PS3 i cant wait
