Hey guys! I have a problem with one of my games in which the sound effects were turned off (they used to be on). I might have pressed something by accident that turned them off and was wondering how can you turn them back on.

I wonder if you somehow accidentally hit a key that turned off one of the sound channels. Are you sure it only happens with this one game and no other SNES games?

Hmm... well a disabled sound channel would effect all games run through the same emulator as far as I'm aware (though I could be mistaken).

Either try hitting Esc in game to bring up the menu. From there, first go to Config -> Sound. Make sure "Disable SPC Sound Emulation" is NOT checked and "Enable Sound" IS checked.

Then go to Misc -> Keys. Is there anything at all assigned to any of the sound keys? If there is, try pressing those buttons when in game to toggle and seeing if the sound returns. If all the sound keys are blank, you could try setting them to something (like 1-8 on the keyboard) and still toggling them to see if anything happens.

Hmm, I tried what you said with the sound keys (my config sound options are what they are supposed to be), but was unsuccessful . I have been looking at the escape menu all day yesterday and today. It is weird that the sound effects can suddenly go off from one game when they were on when I started playing it. It has to be a key combination or something that I did that triggered the sound effects going off, but can't figure out what it is. Anyway, thank you for the suggestion .
