Can't believe no one's talking about this here. Oh well. 

So Sony announced the Playstation 4, coming 'in time for the holidays' probably. Maybe.

I have to say, I'm not particularly impressed. The graphics look pretty much the same. The games look pretty much the same. The controller has a touch-pad (interesting) and the system comes with a camera....uh...kay....

It seems like they're mostly pushing the social aspect. I guess you can just push a button and record your game play and load it up on some streaming thing for people to watch. Whooooooot. 

And of course, it's not backward compatible in any way. Anyone surprised?

So overall, I'm not going to be in any rush to pick this up when it comes out. I'm still playing my PS2 games, fer gosh sake. 

What do you guys think?

The problem is, I can't afford it, nor the PS2 or PS3.  So no change here, I really don't care much.
