I was play fire-red and I got up to catching mew two then instantly saved my game completely then exited and when I came back it reset its self to the very start, advice needed. Plz Help.

nee10123 : Usually in-game saving works but in this case it sounds like something strange has happened. If your save file is not there...there is no way to recover it. I apologize.

In the future, you should use the save-state functionality of the RGR plugin. To save press F2 on your keyboard, to load, press F4. (sometimes laptops have another primary function for the F-keys an may require you to hold the Fn key while hitting they Fkeys)

Save states are great because you can Save and load at any point of a game.

Sorry for the trouble, but using save states should eliminate any issues with regards to saves.

Thanks I found out why my game reset and it was because the was switched to open with hl2 (because I play Garry's mod).
But now I don't know how to restore it back to normal.
