Remember me? My last thread was a grip of time ago telling you all that I got into a federal program called Jobcore. Well I'm here and I found a proxy so I can finally get onto Vizzed. Everything is great here and I will be able to get into a union up in Portland, Oregon when I'm finished starting at 19$ PER HOUR! I'll let you guys know about what goes on occasionaly.

P.S They say it's like a college here but it's more along the lines of a highschool. They got the "jocks" etc.. Also a student goverment bleh.

I don't remember you but welcome back!

How long is the problem you're doing? What is it for? (what job/skill are you getting?) $19/hour is a pretty good salary to start out with.

I first started out wanting to go into forestry but it's only seasonal work because of being on a fire crew it's only during fire season obviously. Even though you can get about 15 grand during that time but your working 16 hour days 7 days a week, after that you need a lame job throughout the month.

Finally I decided on stonework and cement laying. 19$ hourly will eventually raise up about 6-9 dollars depending on where I'm at. The pay is great and I'll be in a union which will keep my job secure, health benefits etc..

Thanks I'll try hard and hopefully carve out a little place in this world for me.
