When I was younger I did have a lot of swords and other medieval weapons. I would go to the knife store that was pretty close to my house and buy swords and flails and so on, but when my daughter was born I gave they all a way.

I think that swords are totally awesome! They are pretty much handles with a huge metal spike coming out of it. How could you not like that?
Personally, I don't own any real swords except a couple of those Swiss Army Knife things, but my brother has a real musket, if I remember correctly.

Though with that being said I'd also be very wary of owning one mainly due to my Epilepsy it wouldn't surprise me if I somehow had a fit and impaled myself on it.. (I know that's literally impossible but knowing me)

I'm more of a dagger/knives person myself, while I do love swords I just prefer the smaller more concealed blades (I'm not a killer don't worry ). If I were to ever own a sword or could have multiple swords I would have a Backblade katana (It has a proper name but I don't remember it), a claymore, and a good old fashion rapier
