Just stopping in to say hi. ^^ I am new! However, I do not know what else to say.

What kinds of games do you like?  What brought you here, and what's your favorite genre of gaming, or your favorite system?  What are some of your hobbies?

Well to be honest, I am a well rounded out type of gal! ^^ I grew up  on Zelda, Mario, Mega Man X, and all the other widely known classics. I was Nintendo branded only until I was 16, that is when I got my Game Gear. Only had a few games though, which was a Sonic game, and Devilish. Hobbies? Well, other then gaming? I crochet, paint, draw, do art work on photo shop, and write. (I am sure there is more, just can not think of anything right now.) What brought me here is the game selection, but as soon as I saw Breath of Fire, I had to join. Now the story behind Breath of Fire, is the fact that I have owned it twice, and two different relatives lost them, with the Nintendo DS(s?) they where in.

*gasps* I crochet too!  Imagine that!  I hardly ever meet anyone who knows how to or even enjoys it, so it's awesome to finally meet someone who lists it as a hobby!  ^.^

That is so awesome! The last time I mentioned it on a site, everyone was like "what is that?" I was honestly surprised at the small amount of people who know what it is. My favorite thing to make is squares. ^^

Devantaus, in response to your pm, you couldn't post in this thread again because double posting is not allowed (unless you are a staff member).  This means that if you were the last one to post in a thread, you can't post again until someone else has.  However, try to avoid sandwich posting.  (Just in case: sandwich posting is "You post, Bob posts, you post, Bob posts, etc."  In certain threads (like this one), it's not such a big deal, but in most threads it's frowned upon.)

Also, making granny squares was how I first got my start.  Funny story:  When my aunt first taught me how to make granny squares, I misunderstood her instructions, and I kept bringing my dc's to the very first round!  I did this for about half a dozen rounds, can you imagine it?!?!  I ended up with this poofball, and I still have it to this day.  *laughs*  My aunt was even able to help me add a few 'proper' rounds to the end, so it's a poofball of yarn with granny square edges.  It'd make a nice pot holder. XD

Ah! That explains a lot, I was starting to worry that I might have gotten myself into trouble with out realizing it. However, one of my posts had a question in it. Which, if you could help me out again, I would be grateful. (Sorry if I am asking too much.) I am confused by the 'affected by' laziness (in my case). I am wondering about why It is there, why it changes, and what it effects. If you could explain, or show me to a thread that would be great. 

As far as the 'poofball' is concerned, that is really cool! I was actually taught by my friends youngest sister! She is like 6 years younger then I am. She was a great teacher, then her mother actually handed me a magazine a few hours after that had the granny square pattern in it 'sketched out' instead of written, I figured it out mostly. However, mine ended up to be more like a circle. Still to this day did not know how I pulled it off.

You had only been crocheting for a few hours and you figured a pattern out from a picture!?!?  Wow... that is... beyond impressive!  LOL

And sure, I can answer that!  Basically, the more posts you make in any 24 hours period, the higher your 'syndrome' level becomes.  It really doesn't do anything except show people how active you've been recently.  There's a list of them here if you'd like to see how many they are and how many posts you have to make.  You'll have to click on the green link in the list which says 'syndromes'.

Anyways welcome to Vizzed.. I may be a little late with the greeting.. But then again I'm not known for my incredible posting prowess.. 

Apart from basically everything that has been said by Singelli.. I see that you are a pretty Artistic person.. Me personally as much as I love art I just don't have the skill for it.. Never have and never will.. I find it easier to put words on a piece of paper than a drawing..

Hello, This really is a great site. Brings a lot of old memories back and a plus side to experiencing more of the past that I didn't get a chance to explore. Made a search through Google for free online retro games and found this site in the list. Once I had a look around, I found some good times jogging back. Fan of the action and racing games. The story modes had  some of my interest. Enjoy the NES, SUPERNES, N64, SEGA had some cool ideas. Looking through this site is the same as looking through time. Thanks David.

It is okay, better late then never! (Lol) As far as putting words on paper, I actually fail at that, I know what I want to happen, but I do not know how to get there. Then again, I have not drawn for a while. All my creative-ness is going towards a Minecraft map at the moment. (Xbox 360 Version) The maps are 862 blocks x 862 blocks however, I plan on utilizing the whole thing. Already have a few things up, but again just like my writing I do not know what to put in the middle! (Wait! Something tells me you crochet too.)

It is a great site! I know what you mean about memories too. I have played games on almost every system I can think of. For example: Joust, and Solaris on Atari. Almost all Mario games, both Zelda games, and all three Castlevania games (correct me if I am wrong) on Nintendo. Super Nintendo got me into Mega Man X, along with Zelda, and Mario staying right up there! Okay I am stopping there, because the list of games I have played will take me a day if not longer to list. Oh, and yes, Thank you David!

Devantaus : I LOVE how on this board, when you say 'I'm well rounded', it means you grew up with classic video games! Welcome!
