I have this theory that every family and their households have their own traditions and set of maners that how food is stored, served and how you clean the table afterwards. And once you graduate to the big bad world, you notice there are people who didnt follow the rules you were thaught as a child accordingly. Once you notice the other person might or might not wait for you to sit at the table before he or she starts to eat, dosent use the fork "the right way" or dosent know how to set table "right" etc you might just understand people do things differently accordingly who raised you and there is not only one ways of doing these things right or you might think the other person was not "raised up right" since he or she dosent do the things like you would do.

And this is how a simple question like do you store eggs in the cupboard or in the fridge can turn into a huge battle. You dont mess around with food.

Not really an argument, but something similar comes to mind.

An ex girlfriend and I would go to the grocery store - me wanting to shop as quickly as possible and get out there, her having slight OCD - we get to the checkout and I'll say just put the items up there to be scanned, no she has to put them up there with similar items paired so that they go in their own grocery bags to make it organized when she would store them at home.

Of course, you can't say anything in this scenario - you just let her do it her way to keep the peace, lol.

Once in a while I have some little arguments with my mom. Whenever she sees me eating something unhealthy she tries to stop me. No I won't. I need to reward myself sometimes with foods that I want to eat even if they're not good for the health. I haven't had any arguments with anybody concerning who gets the food; I usually give up on it when someone says he/she wants it. I just get something else and move on.

no becuase people know i work out every other day for the last 2 years so i can eat/drink whatever i want

Me and my partner argue all the time about food.
mainly its our tastes that are off, I will like certain things she will not, and flat out start calling me gross because I like to eat it lol
She also seems to think she can get me to eat things she likes, shes a southern girl so her tastes are all over the place when it comes to combinations of food.
But to me some things are not supposed to go together, she likes eating a steak with mac and cheese I think that's a horrible mix myself.
Better put some potatoes on that plate! lol

I don't think we will ever change the fact we argue about it thou, its just who we are

My sister always claims everything in the darn fridge by writing her name on stuff. And she complains if I eat stuff she dislikes.

Me and my ex used to argue about food all the time.. Mainly because she was a vegetarian and didn't believe the food I was eating was beneficial to me...I used to moan at her because like all men I'd rather just do the shopping as fast as possible.. So I don't want to rip my hair out.

We always used to argue about bread. Because brown bread is apparently healthier for you and that I should eat brown bread instead of white... whilst me on the other hand couldn't really stomach brown bread at the time.. I've gotten over it now.. But I was at a point in my life where I couldn't eat anything to do with grain and stuff... (still can't eat pasta thinking about it makes me want to vomit)

At the end of the day though I think it's natural if you have different views on food..It keeps life interesting.

My girl friend and I are always arguing about the fact that i don't eat pork because I'm Muslim. And the fact that she doesn't eat rice because she dislikes it. She always says its similar stuff. But i always say that there are 2 different things.
my girl friend is right i know that not eating pork and not eating rice is the exact same. But i don't eat pork because I'm not allowed to eat is because of a religion my girl friend doesn't eat rice just because she didn't eat enough rice for her taste buds to get used to it.
because i think everyone can eat everything if he just tries it enough.
well that's how my parents learned me so.
Still my girlfriend is a hard head just like me. We both want rights in our discussions. But most likely she gets her right because she just doesn't give up arguing until the drives me crazy about it lol.

she also things that i need to eat less.. But i love food... food is my..never mind you guys knows is i think xD (but I'm still going to tell it)
Food is my third important thing in my life! lol I love food and eating. I can also use it. Because my body doesn't produce fat. So i can't get thicker or fatter.
still she says my blood veins can be clogged.. And she's afraid that will happen to me.
its true that i don't pay much attention to what I eat. Although i got a lot of knowledge about food.

My personal thoughts are that i think she doesn't have to be afraid of my getting clogging blood veins.
I'm through all of my chemotherapy's i have a quite healthy body. And mind
i don't smoke weed or cigarettes. And i don't drink anything that's looks like alcohol.
I'm spiritually aware of a lot of things in my life.

anyways back to the topic i gues.
My girl friend and I are arguing a lot. It sometimes irritates me when she want her rights in things that are based on opinion and not on facts. But i still love her a lot and i don't want to lose her lol.
