if I had to choose between Safire and ruby id choose ruby because of the Pokemon you encounter. ruby was my best team i had blasiken shiftry swellow mightyena garidavior and lainturn. also i think ruby is the better of the two because groundons move set is way better than kyorgers

dragon111: definitely emerald is better than both for a number of reason starting with the battle frontier and the fact that it gave you a purpose to keep playing after the e4 like for an example you could go unlock the regie caves or hunt down other legends or get the silver symbols
