Human women are confusing I will give you that especially when they are sending signals that we males cant figure out...if you are really that confused then you should try to make a move regardless of the fact that you have different beliefs you see love always finds a way to grow even in the most adverse conditions and the beliefs thing isn't as adverse as some would think take my parents for example my father was wiccan and my mother was a Mormon those two religious beliefs don't get along well especially after the Salem witch hunt. The question YOU have to ask yourself is do YOU like her? If so then I think that there is nothing stopping you from going up to her and asking her if she would go to senior prom with you.

But there is some wisdom in making sure your goals and reason for living are in harmony before making a long term commitment to someone.

If someone's who life was protecting the environment, and plans to continue fighting for her paramount value, should she get married  (or equivalent) to someone who has no respect for our planet, and in fact is CEO of a company who refuses to cooperate with green groups? When she needs to spend time, money, and energy fighter her cause, will he really be supportive and understanding? Some say it makes no difference, and that's a great opinion. But I don't think it's foolish to think otherwise either.
