I'm bad at introducing myself and I'm socially awkward, so just bear with me.

So...my name is Charlie, but don't be fooled; I am a girl. I'm seventeen as of 2/21/13 and I'm a cadet Sergeant First Class in my Army JROTC program. I'm also the saxophone section leader in band. I am the neighborhood authority on Metroid and Pokémon. As you may have guessed, they are my favorite video games.

Um...I guess I'll do hobbies now? Aside from being a nerd and playing sax, bassoon, oboe, marimba, and piano, I enjoy reading and writing stories and poems, "doing science" (because apparently, that's what exploring new scientific theories is called), riding horses (ask me about Rudy and "Scooby-Doo"), exploring how Pokémon grow and learn moves as they level up, and figuring out new challenges to spice up my Metroid favorites.

I have completed several Metroid-related exploits, including runs of 40-50 minutes in Fusion, 100% runs in minimum time for Prime, Corruption, and Hunters, a low percent run in Corruption on Normal mode, completion of Hypermode on Corruption, and completion of Hard mode on Echoes (the original GameCube version!). I'm currently working on another Echoes run in which I will navigate and fight using only the Echo Visor (once I get it...), and completing Super Metroid and Zero Mission with a 100% rating. I'll work on speed runs later.

So, yeah. I'm a bit abrasive, but I generally mean no harm. Everyone knows nerds are bullied, but few know how tough we grow up to be once we get out of the "crybaby" phase. Would you taunt the snake for having no horns if you knew it was going to grow up to be a dragon? Of course not. So don't taunt the nerds when you know we'll eventually get tough and start kicking some popular kid butt.

Uh, I'm in Army JROTC....what grade is Airman First Class?

Army and Air Force are close, but not close enough for me to know Air Force ranks. All I know is that in the Army, you have Private, Private First Class, Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant First Class, Master Sergeant, First Sergeant, Sergeant Major, Command Sergeant Major, 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, and Colonel (Cadet ranks only; I'm not as familiar with actual ranks).

So what do you have in Air Force JROTC?
