The next game in the Metal Gear series is almost here, taking the franchise in a whole new direction. This is a hack-and-slash addition to Metal Gear, where you play Raiden, a cyborg working under the direction of PMC Maverick Enterprises in order to raise money for his family.

This game takes place 6 years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.


The weapons in this game look awesome, from Raidens lightning sword to the RPG that you hold with one hand and shoot while slashing at things with the other.

The sword's motions can be controlled with the analog stick, which is pretty awesome.


The demo is out for PC/Xbox 360 and PS3 now. It's a fairly lengthy demo, too.
