I have to say that I like the blue Yoshi, mostly because in Super Mario World, you can slurp up any Koopa shell and you have a cape powerup, you can just take off flying towards the goal post.

My favorite colored Yoshi would be Red because what ever shell it eats it will always spit up the fire balls that turn enemies that it hits to coins. The Red Yoshi's ability would be useful because once you reach 100 coins you get a extra life.
