I have not encountered any pokemon past pokemon crystal , but as for my favorites (from who I know)

I would have to choose Groudon because he was the reason I bought Ruby (because he was so cool looking). Now I'd have to say...

Generation 2: Feraligatr is my favorite water starter final evolution (sorry Swampert) and he is why I want to get Soul Silver, to play with him / her again, the right way.

Generation 3: Groudon (previously stated)

Generation 4: The worst generation, the surprisingly least fun series of Pokemon (until Heart Gold and Soul Silver come out which will correct this generation). It doesn't deserve a cool pokemon.
