Cant really say. I think 2 was a more basic, funny, enjoyable ragdoll adventure, like gta3.
And then, like gta4, it got too much money and went crazy with the new one.
The control seemed sluggish,combat less satisfying, plot even crapier. Dont get me wrong, i enjoyed it. But on level 1 i realised i preffered saints row 2.


Incidentaly, I didnt realise they made destroy all humans. That always seemed a game with great potential but weak results, hopefully some company will pick it up and do something good with it.

I personally wont miss them much. THQ had some really great games of course, but in recent years they made decisions which helped bring this about. I don't see how this is the second coming of the video game crash. One company went out of business, while bethesda, EA, activision, valve, insomniac, capcom, etc are all making money. I will admit, part of why I am a bit indifferent to THQ's issues may be because of how they decided to seriously milk the dlc market in the latest dawn of war game, but that is just one example of the decisions i mentioned earlier.

Judging by the replies I've seen so far, I'll probably get booted out of the forums for this. lol I actually didn't like 90% of THQ games. They made one pc game that was ok, and they made the Tak games (which I absolutely loved!) but I actually tended to feel disappointed when I fired up a game and saw the THQ logo pop up. Not to mention how they ruined the WWE game franchise. I fail to remember who made Smackdown and Smackdown 2, but that company is the one that deserved the rights. But hey, it's still a shame to see such a prominent game developer get shut down. It kind of makes you wonder about all of the others. Hopefully this ends up being an isolated case.
