Pokémon Blue. I got it in Middle school after suffering from a drought of no Dragon Warrior/Quest games, and it was such a breath of fresh air, I became a long-term fan. It still is not my absolute favorite series, but I always find myself playing the main and some of the side series. Heck, I even used to get both versions of every game and beat them both, but I do not have as much free time as I used to.
