This is a thread for people to just talk about their day. Anything good happen, anything bad happen? Just talk


I'll start: I had a pretty average day. In my softball class in gym (yeah, softball, I know...except 3 varsity baseball players are in my class so it's not what you'd expect), we had a come-from-behind win in the last inning. It was great; my team is still undefeated. After school I had Jazz Band rehearsal for an upcoming benefit concert for CHS (my school) graduate and Jazz legend Michael Brecker. For this concert, we split into small groups known as "combos" and play short tunes with focus on improvising. The band director (who I hate and hates me just as much) actually complimented my playing. So overall, I've had a pretty decent day

I haven't paid attention in Algebra 2 for weeks now, and I failed a test today. I did the math and found that if I got every question I answered correct, the best I could get was a 45%. I found myself wondering what would happen if I failed that class.
I learned about oxidation in Chemistry and did well, but I havent turned in a project for that class. it sucks.

I'd rather talk about my yesterday this time:

Yesterday, me and a bunch of other people went paintballing. It was awesome. One of the other people there had one arm and wore a banana suit, but he was amazing. Luckily, we only faced him once. Most of the time, we played in our own separate group, which was great. We only got to play in one area though, which made it less fun.

Today, my brother came over to play Bionic Commando Rearmed with me. We hung out, just the usual.
After he left, he told my mom that he was going to move in with his girlfriend. He'd pay half of the rent. He makes minimum wage, works 20 hours a week, can't pay for contact lenses or doctors visits or medicine. He doesn't even have a car.

So, all in all, my day was pretty s***ty.

Yesterday, my cousins paid a visit in my house, a surprised visit. John, a 16 year old naughty cousin, brought a mystery book. It was a book that contains many mysteries, made for readers to solve them.

He made a bet with me,10 dollars.He picked the 5th mystery for us to solve.The first one that can finish the mystery wins, I solved the mystery first, so it means, he have to give me 10 dollars. The thing is, he had no money with him that time. So I just for-went of it.

I had a "detention" in school so I had to miss lunch, but it wasn't so bad. Other than that, I found a lot of information for a project due tomorrow so I'm confident about finishing soon. Not much of a day for me

I had the first of a three-session root canal today. I got up to nine or ten Novocaine shots in the lower right quadrant of my mouth, and spent the next two and a half hours lying partially upside down with my jaw strained open. I didn't feel a thing during the procedure, and was only a little dizzy for about five or ten minutes when I got out of the chair, but now, about two hours after I left the specialist's office, my face is still puffy over there, and there's a terrifying blood spot on the inside of my cheek that kind of hurts. He gave me a prescription for Percocet that I actually still need to go and pick up, but I imagine I'll do that later.

On a silly note, I look funny when I grin. =D And I had an extensive conversation with his assistant, while waiting for the Novocaine to work, on anime and books.

This day was a bit weird, because we(my family and I) had to bury my grandfather
I was very sad all morning, but I decided to log in just to find somebody, who didn't know about that, in order to talk about something irrelevant.
I was talking for 4 hours! (But I didn't mentioned anything about that creepy incidence)
So, gradually my mood became better
Now, I feel quite reliefed!
