does anyone know when the plugin will be downloadable on mac? ik i have already asked this before but i really want to know cause i love this website and i cant do anything on my mac cause i the plugin doesnt work for mac

Now, for your answer. There is no Mac plugin as of right now, unfortunately. Since its pretty expensive to make one for Mac, David doesn't have the spare money to develop one as of now.

CMAN489 : A Mac plugin is probably not going to happen anytime soon. Davideo has sunk a ton of money into the plugin over the past year adding netplay and tons of new systems and there won't be any major updates anytime soon.

You can use the Java emulators, or dual-boot windows on your mac in order to use the plugin.

Also, there are a few emulators out there that you can download and play offline that are compatible with Mac.

I'm a mac user and If you want to play games that you normally can't download a emulator and a rom of the game so you can play it. I know a site but I'm not sure if I'm allowd to say since that may count as an ad.

As was said, this isn't likely to happen any time soon. Just adding a new system to the plugin is fairly expensive so imagine adding every single one we have back again but as a Mac version. I can't even imagine the cost. Certainly not something that could be done all at once. Also, there probably aren't even Mac versions of every emulator used in the RGR so alternate, open-source emulators would need to be hunted down for those systems. It would be a very difficult task. If you can't run (or emulate) Windows on your machine for the purpose of using the plugin, then you're pretty much out of luck for the non-java emulators as far as this site goes. I'd recommend doing a Google search for mac-compatible emulators and working from there.

Either way, this question has been answered as good as it probably ever will be, so I'll go ahead and close the thread.
